    Panormos Beach Mykonos Island Greece

On the north side of the island and facing east onto Panormos Bay is the long and beautiful Panormos Beach. There are no , Mykonos  Hotels here . Two restaurants  one hotel and some rooms to rent  serve this otherwise remote area, reachable only by private vehicle or taxi. It didnt attract many people and it was popular with the island"s permanent visitors, but these last three years Giorgos Zaglaras have created there one of the coziest and most relaxed all-day haunts in Mykonos. Beneath its parachute canopy, at its wooden tables, you"ll meet the most beautiful and trendy people on the island in a totally relaxed holiday mood, where as renowned athletes with divine bodies complete on the beach volley arena. Fortunately, the fact that this is not an organized beach (no umbrellas or sun beds) discourages wanna-be socialites Nude bathing tolerant, this beach because of its location is best suited during periods of southerly wind.

PANORMOS beach  , named after the bay itself and the small cove faces eastwards and so it enjoys a little more shelter from the winds that can scour the north facing sands. It has a fine long stretch of white sand and a small taverna that opens in the summer. There are good walks over the surrounding countryside though, with no trees.
